I'm honored to have won the OnScore Brave Rescore Competition, judged by acclaimed Hollywood composer Patrick Doyle (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Thor, Brave, Death on the Nile).
The challenge was twofold: create a professional score that tells the story of the scene with all its complexities, character interactions, comedy, and magical mystery, while composing music distinctly different from Patrick Doyle's original masterpiece.
My approach centered on developing a single musical theme throughout the different sequences, weaving it through the orchestral palette and punctuating key moments with carefully selected hit points. The result is a score with strong musical and narrative coherence, dynamic and effective sequences, and melodies with a hypnotic quality.
